With their bulky silhouette and rustling fringes, the FRAN lights are reminiscent of a piñata. Their fluttering body is made of high-quality rayon, a viscose fiber based on cellulose — fringe strands fitted in layers that create a subtle bob or a bulky statement piece, depending on the amount of material.

This new iteration of FRAN introduces refined hardware that brings an understated industrial contrast to the lamp’s organic form. The canopy and top fitting are crafted from raw brushed aluminium, left unfinished to reveal the material’s natural texture and matte sheen. A transparent plastic cable replaces the black cord, preserving the lightness and playfulness of the FRAN family.

This product is custom-crafted for you after your order is placed. Please allow 4-6 weeks for manufacturing before shipment. Despite their volume, the shades fold flat for shipment.

FRAN can now be composed into a multi-shade cluster. A dedicated hanging system of slender raw brushed aluminium rods distributes several pendants at varying heights from a single ceiling canopy, held together by the same transparent cables. The standoffs fix by screwing onto the cables by hand, positioning each rod at the desired height. The result is a sculptural, mobile-like arrangement that plays with scale and rhythm, combining shades of different sizes into one cohesive installation. The system is modular and flexible, allowing for intimate groupings or expansive overhead compositions.
